Once you have turned outside of bowl including foot, attach chuck to threaded live centre, move tail stock with threaded live centre/chuck assembly and grab foot while attached to lathe, unscrew chuck/bowl and screw into the head stock, your bowl will be very precisely centred and ready to be hollowed out or cored.
